Witty and Wise?

This is my second career as a cartoonist, the first being at college with an Urban/Rural cartoon called the Cosmic Cowboy and Oly Ork. That is were I learned what enjoyment can be derived from a simple drawing or a well crafted phrase. “Witty and Wise?, dropped into my lap from a Christmas gift of a book of quotations and an English teacher telling me that my daughter was “witty and wise”. I developed the cartoons and realized that to go to the next level I needed to team up with some professional artists. This gave me the opportunity to meet Brock Nicklas, and Cristian S. Aluas.

I truly enjoy quotes, phrases and memorable saying. So much so, that I believe they can be illustrated and enjoyed by all.

I have always loved to draw. As far back as I can remember, I have been taking pencil to paper and created worlds, heroes, monsters and just about anything my imagination can muster. I learned to cartoon mostly from taking animation classes and know the importance of having a "look" when it comes to mixing writing with art. When Doug approached me to draw Witty and Wise? I took it upon myself to challenge the artist within me to come up with something that meshed with Doug's idea for the cartoon. The result? Well, I'll let you be the judge..........
